Soap Box Derby S.T.E.M. Summer Camp - Akron, OH
Image the opportunity to race down Derby Downs every day in a Soap Box Derby car, be part of a race team, compete in Friday’s Championship Race, build, test, and race a Mini Soap Box Derby car, plus participate in other fun-filled, STEM driven activities. You can at the Soap Box Derby STEM Summer program. NavYouth 2016 Spring Retreat - Denton, MD
NavYouth Spring Retreat! Downright Different Relationships Fri Mar 11 – Sun Mar 13 New location! Camp Mardela in Denton, MD, on the Eastern Shore near the Delaware border. Leave Fri afternoon (time TBD) & return Sun afternoon. Except for one fast-food meal on the way, all meals are included, Fri dinner thru Sun lunch. Total cost $85 — money needed by Mon Mar 7. Scholarships available if cost is holding you back. Discount for families sending more than one student — only $50 for each additional student after the first. Monday: Essentials of Drawing Techniques & lessons about Leonardo DaVinci Tuesday: Watercolor Media Technique & a adventures with Audubon, the man who painted birds Wednesday: Acrylic Painting and Technique & brushstrokes with Van Gogh Thursday: Introduction to Printmaking Techniques & learning how to print like Andy Warhol Each day your child will get hands on instruction from Michael and her daughters. Baseball Camp (Ages: 5-12) - Jones Park
Pitch, hit, run! This camp is perfect for young players looking to improve their baseball skills. Camp will start at Jones Park for some on-the-field training and end at the Savoy Recreation Center, where we will cool off with some indoor training. T-shirts are included. Day Camp - Week #4 Amazing Race - Fairview Heights Parks and Rec
Summer Camp - Week #4 Amazing Race On your mark, get set, go! The amazing race is not over long distance, but is a competition to get points for your team. You and your team will compete throughout the week playing fun minute to win it games, as well as other exciting competitions. See if your team can race to the top of the leader board! Our field trip will be to the sensational City Museum in St. Louis, MO. As always, we will provide a yummy lunch for a fantastic food Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you are paying a deposit of $20 to reserve your week, the remainder of the payment will automatically set to be deducted from your credit card the Monday of the week before the camp begins. Campers will have fun in the woods turning branches into forts meant for spies or explorers! They will create tunnels or secret hideouts using easy-to-find materials, a few tools and lots of imagination. It will be a week of open-ended play that emphasizes unstructured creative exploration with diverse natural materials.
