The Maclean Animal Adoption Center will feature Kid's Summer Camp this summer at the Center. There wil be 6 1-week courses available for children entering grades 1-6. We have schedule a second computer coding camp for July 18 @ 1:00 for grades 6-12. Part 2 is a two-hour camp that introduces teens to robotics engineering with a line patterning RedBot. Teens will add to coding skills learned in Part 1 to instruct RedBot to follow simple to complex line patterns. We’re debuting 5 mini-camp sessions designed specifically for the “older kiddos!” These camps focus on fun and skill building over 3 consecutive afternoons of concentrated creation – allowing time for larger projects and deeper investigation of themes hand picked from customer recommendations! These camps run from 1-4 in the afternoon and are designed for students in 5th grade and up. Early bird registration rates are $75 for 1 mini camp, $100 after May 15. June 21-23: RAD ROOMS – you’re the designer! create one of a kind painted and stitched projects to be sure your bedroom style is on point!

Dont Try This (9-12) - Peninsula Fine Arts Center
Dont try this at home: the sequel! If you missed it last year, dont make the same mistake twice! This fun, mess-filled camp is making a comeback with more ooey-gooey, messy fun! Join in as we suds things up with wet-felting, get down and dirty in clay or turn up the psychedelic vibes with some tie-dye! Campers should bring lunch, drinks and two snacks (due to allergies, please make sure all food is peanut free) PFACs camps are led by one teaching artist per 12-15 students with assistance from Camp Counselors. If youre child may need additional assistance beyond what a teaching artist could provide, please let us know. Parents are always invited to stay in the classroom. 757-596-8175
