LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Creating on Canvas - Spring Has Sprung - Ballenger Creek Elementary School (Title 1)
5 Week Session Your artist will create five individual canvas paintings! We will explore themes such as bugs, flowers, and the beach all while learning acrylic painting techniques. Aprons will be provided, but please be aware that our artist quality paint does stain. NOTES: 1. Please pack a small PEANUT FREE snack for your child. We will have a 15 min snack break before class starts. 2. After school, students will be dismissed via announcements to the designated area or classroom. If students do not show we will contact the front office and the parent/guardian to make sure there is a reason for your childs absence. **Please remind your child they have Club Scientific or KidzArt in the morning so they do not forget where to go that day after school. 3. -- Pick up is at 5:00 pm * Pick up will be out front of the school or in the front entry area. * You will need to sign your child out at pick up. Kid's Summer MMA Camp - Decatur, AL
The Camp will take place July 11-15 from 10am-1pm each day, and the cost is $100 per child and is intended for children ages 6-12. We will be fully staffed with experienced instructors ready to help your child have an incredible Martial Arts experience. Intro to body checking is a 6-week camp focused on: All Key Elements of Power Skating Intro to Body Checking Safe and Strong Body Positioning Puck Possession Its vital that young hockey players are fully prepared when entering the age levels where body checking and increased body contact are legal. Size and strength play a limited role if players are properly trained on body position, angles, correct posture, etc. Power skating will be the focus of the first 30 minutes -- then the players will be split by level.
