This event will be June 21st thru June 25th, our theme this year is Camp Discovery "Jesus at work through us". The early registration will be at our Giant Youth Rally, June 6th, 2015, this year the fee will be $65 on this day and $70 if you wait until the day of, so register early and save $5.00. Our speaker will be Reverend Jason Lee, a former camper and a outstanding minister for both the young and the young at heart. Teen Camp 9-4pm wk 5 - Frankfort Park District
The Frankfort Park District would like to present Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp program for youth entering 7th ? 9th grade in the fall. This full day camp will provide plenty of outdoor activities, water days, arts & crafts, and a field trip each week that a teen will enjoy. Special guests will be invited to this camp including sports, art and science instructors. Teen Adventures Summer Day Camp will be held at Commissioners Park, located at 22108 S. 80th Avenue in Frankfort, along with the use of Chelsea Middle School, which is located next to Commissioners Park. Drop off and pick up will take place at Chelsea Middle School, located at 22265S. 80th Ave. The camp will run from 9 ? 4pm, Monday thru Friday, with a before and after care option. Bring a bag pack, lunch and water bottle each day. Lunch may be included on certain field trip days. Registration must be done in person at our main office located at the Founders Community Center, 140 Oak Street. A copy of your child?s birth certificate will be required at the time of registration. 3rd - 5th grade girls: Kids with Wings- Writing & Reading Camp - Saint Marys School
A reading and writing camp designed for 3rd – 5th grade girls. In a guided reading setting the girls will read and discuss childrens literature that focuses on building girls self-esteem. The curriculum includes a daily writing activity that will focus on grade appropriate writing skills and a creative art activity related to each book we read. We will also spend time outside playing games that will build positive friendship skills. Each day will include a snack, lunch and pool time. DeAnna Huffines graduated from Saint Marys in 1983 from high school and 1985 from College. She then attended Meredith College where she majored in education. She has been working with Wake County Public Schools at the elementary level for 18 years and has a small tutoring business on the side. 9194244028.0

KODA Youth Girls (Ages 13–16) - Camp Mark 7
Camp Mark Seven offers a place where hearing children of Deaf parents could come together to learn about, and better understand the two worlds that they simultaneously live in, and where they could explore, identify, and strengthen their unique C/KODA identities and develop individually as leaders. All of this would occur, ideally, in a recreational camping environment that would foster a lot of interaction and activities for each child and youth. Program activities: Swimming and tubing. Paddle a canoe on the chosen rivers/lakes and camp out under the stars. Low ropes course. Diverse outdoor games. Arts & crafts. Hike different mountains. Evening Bonfires. Shopping in Old Forge and Inlet. Campers will create skits for Parents Night; Parents Night is offered at the end of the program, and family members are invited to come and watch their childs skits.
