Siena College Dance Camp provides a fun and exciting way to learn the fundamentals of dance. The camp is designed to teach a variety of different dance styles including hip hop, jazz, ballet, latin dance, breakdancing, modern, and tap. Campers can come with NO dance experience and learn a great deal or they can come with a lot of experience and be challenged while expanding their skill set. Campers will learn skills in dance workshops and dance choreography to showcase in an end of camp recital The camp staff is selected from area dance studio owners and creative directors along with current and former Siena Dance Team members that are eager to share their knowledge with the campers. This camp is for boys and girls ages 6-17, the cost is $320 per camper. A 15% discount is available to groups of eight (8) or more campers that must be done online with a group discount code. No additions will be allowed after the initial submission of a group. The Avengers Mentoring Organization (501c3) presents it's 3rd Annual Charity Fireworks Fundraiser for our 5th Annual Summer Camp! Our FREE summer camp serves 300 children ages 6-13 in and around the Metro-Detroit area. This daily camp runs from July 11, 2016-August 19, 2016. Locations are: The Golightly Education Center (5536 St. Antoine) and George Crockett Academy (4851 14th St) in Detroit. During the camp, children are involved in team sports such as: volleyball, basketball, kickball, baseball and more, arts and crafts, group mentoring, outdoor recreational play and are also served by a mobile dentist. Meals are provided by Good Samaritan Food and is run by up to 25 volunteers! Field trips are also optional and available! This year's theme is "Celebrate and Laugh," the fireworks is a tradition in Metro-Detroit, get a magnificent view of the fireworks at One Woodward on the 19th floor! Enjoy a barbecue style meal, laughs by Comedians Mic Larry and Simply Shanell and enjoy the sounds of singing sensation and recording artist Johnyce! There will be music, dancing and many activities, as well as a VIP charter ride to and from the event! But most of all, you will be a part of helping the Avengers...

Jr. Choir - Valle Verde Elementary
Classroom: E-2 Instructor: Rick Abbott (No class on March 31 or April 28. Final performance May 12th) This enrichment class is taught by Mr. Abbott. Jr. Choir is a performing choir for 2nd and 3rd graders. We are performing the choral concert STAR MAKER – the TV Show. The songs are delightful! Ive done this concert many times because the kids love the music. The students will perform in two concerts: a daytime assembly and a formal night concert in the MUR. For 3rd graders, there are opportunities, by audition, for solos, small group numbers, and narrator parts. Proper solo vocal technique, as well as ensemble vocal technique are taught. Make new friends; develop confidence while performing onstage for an audience. The songs are upbeat and lots of fun! Tuition payment includes: practice CD, song booklet, weekly rehearsals and two concert performances. Rehearsals are fun and musically invigorating. 415-314-1749

Our full day Futsal camp is from 9am-4pm daily, Monday-Thursday. Futsal camp will help players improve technically and forces them to play quicker, be creative, and use correct techniques for receiving, turning and passing. To keep the ball, players have to be always moving and adjusting to keep up with the speed of play. Camp includes training in both our indoor gymnasiums and outdoors, all you can eat buffet style lunch in USFs air-conditioned dining hall on campus Monday-Thursday.
