My daughter is interested in marine biology, so we decided to send her to this camp. She was able to study and learn about many different aspects of marine life. She has a greater respect for any living sea creature and she wants to study this science now more than ever. TEENS AGE 14 - 17 Two-Week Improv Summer Camp Sessions! July 25 - August 5th AND August 8th - 19th The National Comedy Theatre is now registering for our annual Summer Improv Comedy Camp where we give our students the opportunity to explore the worlds of improv and sketch writing! Much like NCT’s professional team, our group of students will quickly form an ensemble of performers, working together to develop their skills and, ultimately, build a quality performance that friends and family will be invited to attend at our theatre in San Diego. What Do The Parents Think? "It's hard to find a great summer camp for teen-agers...NCT kept my daughter laughing, learning and meeting new friends. The teachers are fantastic, positive and really encouraging. We're definitely coming back!"

Thank you so much for supporting Camp Common Ground's effort to get our youth leaders in Oakland to camp! Your attendance and participation at the launch of our second fundraiser will be imperative to ensuring that our youth from diverse racial and economic backgrounds can stand together this summer to break down barriers that exist between their communities. Come hungry and ready to drink, and don't forget your laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc. that we will use to get the word out about the fundraiser to all of our networks! What's the impact we will make in one day? The fundraiser will last for the entire month of March. During last month's fundraiser, Camp Common Ground supporters exceeded the fundraising goal of $4800. The $5400 raised will bring 4 Oakland youth to camp. During this fundraiser, we will raise $13,200, which will bring 16 more Oakland youth to camp--6 more on full scholarships and 10 on partial scholarships. Looking forward to seeing you there!

Camps will touch on all aspects of the game of golf and include full-swing, short-game, and putting as well as rules, etiquette, what to expect on the course. The Seattle Prep freshman football coaching staff is hosting a 9-day football camp for all incoming 9th grade students interested in joining our football family. This is a wonderful opportunity for your son to begin cultivating relationships that will last a lifetime, meet the freshman and varsity coaching staffs, and enjoy developing skills and fundamentals of football. The staffs goal is to provide each camper with a fun and exciting two weeks of football and get to know our student-athletes. We will teach all campers the fundamentals and skills that are needed to compete in football safely. Most importantly, we will teach a winning attitude that will enable each camper to become the best individual and team player he can be. This is a contact camp. However, contact is limited with various tempos being used for teaching purposes as we develop our young Panthers. Puzzles and problem solving for beginners. A mix of math, science and logic taught with puzzles and games. Activities will include mathematically analyzing familiar games and developing strategies. Playing the games allows us to test and compare strategies and have fun. 408-291-0907
Future Robot Creator - United Faith Christian Academy
Entry-level robotics and programming. Campers get a head start on simple robotics using LEGO® Education WeDo™ components and easy to use software. Our young creators will build models, attach sensors and motors, and configure behaviors using a simple programming tool. Counselors guide and encourage exploration and trial and error field-testing. Instead of simply snapping bricks together, campers are encouraged to think critically about how their robot design can be changed and to understand more complicated engineering techniques such as gear use, pulleys, and inclined planes. Robot models include a variety of animals, soccer players, amazing mechanisms, and adventure stories. When ready, campers move to advanced building and programming projects that include: a Racecar, Ferris wheel, and Carousel. As the week draws to a close, campers can utilize the skills they have learned to build an X-wing fighter or Marine helicopter.
