The Ideal School After School, Second Semester - The IDEAL School
The IDEAL School and Kids Creative are partnering again to offer a third year of after school enrichment courses and supervised play activities for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade, Monday through Friday. Kids Creative has been running after school programs throughout New York City for 16 years and is excited to continue the growing relationship with The IDEAL School, its students, families, and community. Our Fall 2015 Class Offerings Every afternoon, we will offer at least one class as well as free play. MARTIAL ARTS (Monday – Grades K-5) Ever wanted to be a ninja? Build strength, confidence and agility in our martial arts class. This class combines traditional martial arts moves with fun and exciting games. Each class includes activities with lessons on respect, discipline, self-control, concentration and goal setting. CHESS CLUB (Tuesday – Grades K-5) Build your brainpower! Students will play chess, learning the basics, building on their game playing, and honing their individual chess skills. This unique instruction is supportive as students learn to play together, have fun, and build strategy and concentration. Students are also invited to attend weekend chess tournaments. Kruz Kidz Summer Day Camps - Kruz Kidz Summer Day Camps
Kruz Kidz offers 4 weeks of Discovery Camps with 23 different options to choose from, and 5 weeks of Adventure Camps for all girls and boys entering 1st grade through 6th grade. We also offer a Junior Counselor camp for campers entering 7th-9th grade. Check out the full list of Discovery Camp options, including a wide variety of sports, fine arts, performing arts, cooking, technology and science camps! Minecraft 3D Supreme - United Faith Christian Academy
This camp is for experienced campers who have been playing Minecraft. Minecraft™ has taken the world by storm with its block-building, digital game design that allows players to build, explore, create, collaborate, and even survive. With no set rules, you can build anything you can possibly imagine. During this 5-day adventure, campers will learn different modes of playing. They will use cool mods as they escape monsters, build amazing structures, create maps, mine the world under their feet, climb the tallest mountains, and utilize robotic turtles to manipulate the vast world around them. They will learn real coding techniques to program their turtles to accomplish tasks while working as a team with other campers to unleash their creativity! Campers take on the real-world jobs of programmer, game designer, artist, and architect. NO Minecraft account is needed for THIS CAMP as we have licenses ready for use. Summer Camp Week 2 Ages 4-7 - First Free Church
CAMP DETAILS Fairy Tales Week In addition to fun theatre games that foster creativity, self-expression and teamwork, students will explore their favorite fairy tales through dramatic play. We will act out stories, improvise news interviews with fairy tale characters, create set pieces, engage in music, movement and puppet activities and much more! A showcase of our favorite stories will culminate this ensemble building experience. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Musical Theater Week Thank you for the music! In this camp, students will have fun exploring their own personal voices through songs and dances from various musicals! In addition to drama and improv games that foster theater skills in creativity, self-expression and teamwork, campers will create their own show that incorporates songs from their favorite musicals.
