Camp Grow weaves nature activities and games into the beauty of a public garden. A day at Camp Grow can include gardening, hikes, games, nature activities, storytelling, arts & crafts, music, yoga, and much more! Camp is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Campers bring their own lunches/beverages each day. The camp fee for SPROUTS is $180 for residents of NOVA Parks jurisdictions (cities of Fairfax, Alexandria, Falls Church, and counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, and Arlington) and $200 for nonresidents. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sprouts are campers who will enter kindergarden, first grade, and second grade in the Fall. Awakening is a Catholic retreat put on by young adults for young adults. This overnight retreat runs from Friday night through Sunday afternoon ending with Sunday Mass. The retreat is designed to awaken your faith, bring you fellowship, and to strengthen your relationship with God during your young adult life. We accept retreaters of any faith/belief in and out of college from ages 18-26. Even though this is a Catholic retreat, you do NOT have to be Catholic to attend. Frostproof Church of God Youth Fishing Tournament - Lake Wales, FL
THERE WILL BE A BASS TOURNAMENT to benefit the Frostproof Church of God Youth Department on the Kissimmee Chain September 24 out of Camp Mack. Entry fee $40 per boat, plus $10 for biggest bass, with $25 going toward payout and $15 to the church. Third boat partner ages 15 and under free. First and second place payouts guaranteed. Week 8: Day Camp Assistant Training (Leadership Development) - Camp Tanadoona
Day Camp Assistant (DCA) Training is the first step in Tanadoonas leadership development program. DCAs spend the first half of the week engaging in teambuilding workshops and interactive leadership training with lead camp staff. Training includes first aid, behavior management, specialty programming and basic counselor skills. DCAs immediately apply their training when they are partnered with Tanadoona Counselors to assist with Day Camp groups during the second half of the week. Staying overnight on Thursday to help with the Thursday Overnight campers provides additional experiential learning. We recommend a minimum of two years of DCA before progressing to CIT. 612-235-7284

Coed Soccer - WEDNESDAYS ONLY - Notre Dame Preparatory School and Marist Academy
Where: NDP baseball field About: This coed soccer session will run for three consecutive Wednesdays for 1st-4th graders: 6/15, 6/22 and 6/29 from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Athletes will go through a skills session focusing on ball control, passing and shooting, followed by a scrimmage. What to wear/bring: Athletic attire, soccer shoes, soccer socks, shin guards, any other necessary soccer equipment, towel and water bottle. Please note our new cancellation policy.
