June 20th-June 24th 9am-4pm Monday – Great Outdoors Tuesday – Yick, Yack, Yuck Wednesday – Marine Biology Sea Camp Thursday – Mummy Madness Friday Field trip: Sandy Point State Park – We will head to the shores of the Chesapeake for some seining, Beach exploring, hiking and games. We offer a picnic lunch for $5/campers which includes hot dog, chips, soda and watermelon. Weekly rate includes Sandy Point Field Trip and bus (410) 279-5416

My child gets homesick easily. Is camp not right for him / her?
Everyone gets homesick from time to time, but if your child seems especially shy, anxious, or clingy, you may fear that he or she isn't ready for an overnight trip. However, camp gives many kids their first taste of independence in a safe and supervised environment, which teaches them that living away from Mom and Dad isn't as scary as it seems.
Camp counselors are highly trained in dealing with homesickness, and they know how to comfort, encourage, and distract campers with fun games. By the end of the week, you may find that your nervous child doesn't want to leave!

Save the date - We will be staying at the retreat lodge (and log cabin if needed) for our fall retreat. Fellowship with other youth in the district, interesting sessions, and an opportunity to help the camp out by raking leaves at the district wide leaf raking service project (Saturday starting at 8 am). Cost $40 - no charge for Advisor. Please contact Ralph Miner if cost is an issue.

SUNDAY MAY 15th at Osbourn High School football fields in Manassas 9:00-12:00 kids ages 4-15 Football agility drills,blocking,tackling techniques,running,kicking,speed and agility and much more !! $25 per child on site registration first come first served. IN CASE OF STEADY RAIN CAMP WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR A LATER DATE. RULES: * $25 per child CASH ONLY no checks or credit cards *Parents will not be allowed on the fields but may watch from outside the fence. This is to insure crowd control and make sure the children can focus on the coaches. *No Refunds *All waivers must be completed and turned in before your child is allowed to enter the practice field. PARKING available at METZ or near the OHS practice field back entrance. * No abusive language towards volunteers coaches or staff. If this becomes a problem you will be asked to leave immediately. Pop! Fizz! Chemical Reactions - Seattle Preparatory School
This is the perfect introduction to chemical reactions for curious middle school students! Each day, students will learn about the chemical interactions of atoms and molecules using hands-on lab activities, group activities, and class discussions. All materials will be provided, but students should wear clothes that are appropriate for lab activities. Kristen Tordillos teaches biology, physical science, and honors biology at Seattle Prep. She enjoys trying to come up with new and creative ways to teach scientific concepts, and she looks forward to focusing on the excitement that comes with chemical reactions! 2063240400.0

This camp has an emphasis on fundamentals of the game presented in a fun and exciting environment. Instruction is geared towards younger children of all abilities. Campers will be grouped according to age/grade, height, and ability level. REFUND POLICY: Cancellations requested at least seven days prior to the start of camp will be issued a full refund less a $15 non-refundable deposit.
