LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Cubs Golf Morning Session - Brigham Young University
This summer your kids can train at East Bay Reserve Golf Course with BYU mens golf head coach Bruce Brockbank and receive instruction in the fundamentals of golf. Participants will receive instruction in short irons, long irons, woods, chipping and putting. Theyll also learn the basic fundamentals of correct grip, posture and alignment. This is your childs opportunity to train with some of the best golfers in the state including Coach Bruce Brockbank, members of his BYU golf team and East Bay Reserve staff. These coaches will spend personal time with each youth, teaching the fundamentals of golf. Additional training will include rules, etiquette, mental attitude, and conditioning. The camp is limited to 45 youth per session, so individual and small-group instruction and feedback are essential elements of the program. Campers will learn from complex drills, detailed demonstrations and fun competitions. Participants must bring their own clubs. 801-422-5724

Your West Circle Drive Hy-Vee is offering a series of cooking classes designed to teach teens (age 12-17) essential cooking skills! Each class will feature a different theme. Teens will be able to eat their creations at the end of the class. July 28th: Italian cooking: pastas and sauces Classes will be taught in our DISH classroom by the in-store dietitian and one of our talented chefs. Fees: $25 per class, due on date of registration. Scientists Explorers - Gulf Shores/Orange Beach Alabama
Scientist Explorers will engage in activities real scientists use to explore marine life and the ocean including research, microscopes, animal behaviors and anatomy. A field trip to the Alabama Marine Resources in Gulf Shores will take place on Thursday to tour the facility, which contains a fish hatchery with marine biologists. We will meet scientists there and learn about their work in protecting marine resources. 251-802-8605

Fencing is the art of quick reflexes, elegant and athletic movements and mental acuity.
