The camp is intended to teach players the fundamentals of lacrosse from A to Z. Players will be grouped according to their age and ability. They will receive both individual and team instruction. The USM staff is geared up to give the beginning player the skills necessary to compete, while challenging event he most advanced youngster. This camp will emphasize skill development and both individual and team concepts. Each player will receive special attention according to their individual needs. Our goal is to develop skills, team play and overall ability so that each player becomes more knowledgeable and better able to apply these concepts to game situations. The philosophy will be to improve through hard work, develop individual and team skills and to have a positive and fun experience. Girls entering grade 3 through grade 12 and at least age 8 by September 1. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There will be a $5 credit card processing fee added at checkout. Spring Break Hardware Hacking - LMHQ
Come get a taste of hardware hacking and electronics in our 3-day spring break Arduino & Electronics Workshop. Were very excited to introduce students to working with microprocessors, sensors, motors, and other amazing tools. By the end of this course, students will know how to build basic circuits connected to their Arduinos, and will be able to write code to control their hardware using the Arduino IDE. This is a great option for students wanting to get a taste of code, hardware, and electrical engineering over their spring break! Students will get their own Arudino kits (which they can keep at the end of the course) and will work in small groups to build and explore the world of Arduino sensors and actuators. Well also have guest engineers come in for tech talk talks about the hardware and software development industries. (718) 395-9655
Week 3: Entrepreneurship & Golf - ACE Conference Center
Girls are incredible with coming up with ideas. This week, they are taught how to take their ideas to the next level. What are operations and what does Math have to do with an idea? They will definitely be able to answer those questions. Girls will use their ideas to solve problems and their skills to resolve challenges. No business deal would be complete without a golfing experience. Golf lessons with a PRO & clubs are a part of the week. Due to the expense of this week, there wont be a make up day for Monday,the 4th of July. Girls will be divided into 2 groups: 7-9 & 10-13. Our capacity is 10 girls per group to ensure an enriching and impactful experience. * Inclusive every day are snacks & meals provided by Wolfgang Pucks Team, supplies, morning yoga on a Helicopter Pad (when not in use by an actual helicopter), afternoon meditation, all activities, guest speakers, workshops and more.* 1-610-584-4283

INSTRUCTOR: CALLEN ZIMMERMAN Textiles for Teens is a gallery-based program at the Brooklyn location of the Textile Arts Center. This hands-on class explores students personal artistic interests right in the midst of our Artist in Residence studios, and will provide full access to our dye lab, screen printing facilities, sewing machines, looms, & more. Students will be able to draw inspiration from the eight resident artists and designers evolving work in fine arts, fashion design, and home textiles, and gain insight into the endless possibilities within the world of textiles. Please come out this summer and spend the day with Coach Will Coley and his staff. Coach Coley is the varsity boys coach at St. Davids School. He has played at the collegiate level and also has 10 years experience at the professional level in Europe. This summer we are offering a full day of basketball! Hours now go from 9am to 4pm. Students will be taught and exposed to the fundamentals of basketball starting at the basics and building up to the more advanced skills. There will be numerous games and contests ranging from shooting to 3 on 3 to 5 on 5 games. Students will be broken up into age groups and skill levels. Whether you are the beginning player or the player who plays every day we are sure that we will have something to challenge you. Trophies and certificates will be given at the conclusion of camp.
