Clay is a great way to have fun and get creative. No experience needed. Students will be introduced to techniques with hand building and throwing basic forms on the potters wheel. They will create dynamic surface decorations using glazes, slips and applied elements. Please wear clothes you dont mind getting dirty and bring a towel. Camps will include all necessary supplies. Summer Day Camp 2016 - Breaux Bridge, LA
A summer day camp designed for children ages 5-12. It will run from 9am to 3pm each day. Children will need to bring a bagged lunch each day (sorry no microwave). Victory Park Camp Group C 5th week Jul 11 - Jul 15 - City of Pasadena
This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Join one of Pasadenas most popular summer camps! Victory Park Camp has earned its longstanding reputation as a high-quality, fun, affordable, enriching program. Each day begins with a morning pep rally that sets the stage for an action-packed day. Activities include outdoor play, dance, arts and crafts, including painting, sculpting, lanyard making and chalk drawings, fitness activities and enrichment. Enrichment classes include health, hygiene and first aid instruction, cooking classes, computer and robotics play and specialized sports instruction in tennis and golf. Campers spend at least two hours daily doing physical fitness in the form of choreographed dance, group games, fitness competitions, team sports and supervised free play. Campers are escorted across the park to Pasadena High Schools swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Camp counselors go into the water with the campers and well-trained, certified lifeguards are always present. Before entering the pool, campers receive a water safety lesson. For students ages 9-11 who are interested in more of a performance challenge, we offer our 6-week Performance Class. Participants in this class will be involved in a full-scale production, from auditions to set building to opening day.
