Africans in Diaspora - Fieldston
Only open to students who are currently enrolled in Fall 2015 session The Africans in Diaspora Club will expose students to a variety of cultures while also looking at the many ways that Africa and its people have influenced the broader world. Students will have the opportunity to read, and critically discuss, Margy Burns Knights book, Africa Is Not A Country, with the intent of dismantling stereotypes and developing an appreciation for Africas diverse people, histories, colors, languages and foods. Additionally, students will be actively engaged in the process of learning, playing, dancing, eating and organizing. Coed Soccer Day Camp: Session II - Siena College - Marcelle Athletic Complex & Fields
Siena College Soccer Camp provides a fun and exciting way to learn the fundamentals of the game of soccer. The camp is designed to teach the skills of the game and the benefits of team work in a fun and competitive environment. The camp staff is selected from the best high school and college coaches and includes college players that are eager to share their knowledge with the campers. The Siena College athletic facilities include several outdoor fields, both turf and grass, that provide a great atmosphere in one location for hundreds of campers each summer. This camp is for boys and girls ages 6-17, the cost is $320 per camper. A 15% discount is available to groups of eight (8) or more campers that must be done online with a group discount code.
