Actually, our daughter is the one who reminded us of that and it was just one of the wonderful lessons she brought home from her time at Park River. Aside from the bible study which she was really engaged with, her favorite thing was the cast iron cooking lessons. Growing Scientists: DaVinci Discovery What do painting, engineering, sculpting, music and math all have in common? They are all part of a new camp theme, integrating science and art, for the inventive imaginations of your child. Taking CuriOdysseys observational approach to science, campers will engineer with shapes, document patterns in nature, and find symmetry all around them. Campers will do as DaVinci did hundreds of years ago and explore their curiosity and stretch their creativity. 3D Modeling & Printing: Cedar Way - Cedar Way Elementary
Working collaboratively in pairs, students will discover how to build objects in 3D suitable for 3D printing, utilizing the online platform, TinkerCad. Smart with Art educators will teach students to work with 3D design elements, learn about creating art in perspective, all while exploring practical applications of 3D technology. We will challenge their spatial skills with ocean themed, art-related activities. Students will be able to create a personalized 3D model to print and take home at the end of class.
