We will be offering diving class to ages 6 to 18 years of age. The only requirement is that you are able to swim 25-yards of the pool and tread water for 1 minute in water over their heads. Basic diving skills and safety will be taught from the side of the pool and on two 1 - meter boards. Each child will progress at their own rate, beginning with essential techniques, while working on strength, flexibility and mechanics. This course will consist of a wide variety of games. Campers will enjoy competing against both themselves and one another. They will play everything from kickball to lawn bowling, ultimate Frisbee to a milk-carton derby and we will even try our hand at an American Ninja Warrior-style obstacle course. Instructor Matt Butler is a Prep teacher with years of experience coaching both boys basketball and girls volleyball.
