This will be a great opportunity for these young men to grow, fellowship and make new friends.

Game Maker Overload - Brookwood Christian School
This camp takes our intro and advanced courses and combines them...then goes beyond that for a full week of programming "overload". Starting from the very beginning, we will explore several different types of game creation: basic, maze, platform and more. Learn the basics such as creatin​g sprites, objects, events and actions, health, gravity, designing your levels and more. Then go deeper into the platform game programming.... in this camp we will introduce even more unique gaming aspects to make your game even better. This camp will provide hours of creative time for you to build exciting, professional looking games you can play with your friends. Engineering - Build It! - Middle School
This course is being offered in conjunction with the Webb Institute in Glen Cove: a private engineering college that offers a dual major in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Students work individually or in teams to design and build a boat that serves a specific mission. Each team is given a list of materials and then must collaborate on the design and construction of their boat. Student volunteers from Webb will assist the teams in applying engineering and physics to enhance the design of their projects. The week culminates with a field trip to the Webb Institute, where students get to test their construction skills under various conditions, tour their amazing facility, and visit the Robinson Model Basin to put their designs to the test by completing numerous challenges. Build and program robots in this introductory robotics class using the LEGO® WeDo system. Learn basic programming skills, simple engineering concepts, and the names of robot components. Work in small groups to complete several projects using tilt and motion sensors.
