Discovery Day Camp at Harris Lake County Park - Harris Lake County Park
Explore the Natural Wonders of Harris Lake County Park while hiking or on a back roads wagon ride. Experience the fun of fabulous fishing and canoeing, enjoy games and crafts with new friends, try out geocaching, "disc-over" the sport of disc golf and learn some survival skills. This five day camp meets at the Cypress Shelter each day! A registration packet including a health history form and more information will be sent to you with your paid registration online. These classes are for juniors who are typically older and have had little or no experience with tennis. The fundamentals are emphasized through fun games in a less competitive setting. 25, 26, or 27 inch racquet recommended. 8 hours of instruction. 9:30am-11:30am, Monday through Thursday. There will be a full progression of each skill and how they are used in gameplay throughout a match. Middle Blockers will also combine with setters to work on the connection with a live set.
