Our kids have been going to the local Boys and Girls club for the past year but this was the first time they ventured out for summer camp. I'm so glad they did. You're invited to join us for our 2nd Annual Spaghetti Dinner and Camps Fundraiser at Calumet UMC. Last year, thanks to the generous support of the community of Calumet, all campers who wanted to attend camp were given the gift to go. We have over 50 campers expressing interest this year from 1st Grade - Senior High, and from various faith families. Youth Winter Camp - New Haven, MI
Haven Place will be doing a FREE Youth Winter Camp. Grades 6th thru 12th. This camp will be focusing on Community Service, Discipleship, We will be having youth grades 6 to 12 stay overnight for three nights. We will be doing community service hours on Friday and Saturday. We will be taking the youth to serve senior citizens in the surrounding area. The youth will be making gifts to bring to the elderly. The youth will also be disciples through a program through D-Now Studies called "The Pause" this discipleship course is four sessions and it will equip youth to learn how to seek God in a never ending multitasking environment. They will each receive a student book and t-shirt. We will be having a New Years Eve party for them. Live band and student mentors will be with them during the camp. Weather permitting we will be shoveling snow and going to sledding hills to pass out free hot cocoa and the gospel message. Possibly do "laundry Love" where we go into a local laundry mat and pay for everyones laundry to be done and more!! Four FULL days of fundamental basketball while maintaining fun! This camp is designed to introduce the beginner to the game of basketball and develop the skills of younger players. We also visit with the team nutritionist about the importance of the healthy plate, attend the pool 3 days for a small break in the afternoon & team building activities throughout the 4 days. The cost includes lunch, Nike camp t-shirt, take home goodies, picture with Hairy Dog and much more! 706-542-1176
Mt. Hood Session 2 - 14 & Older - Mt. Hood Academy House
Your daughter must be a 14 & older ski racer to participate in this camp. Session 2 at Keelys Ski Camp is seven days, three days on snow, one day off and then 3 days on. Summer is an opportune time to develop and improve technique, for this reason we emphasize drills each day of skiing. The first day focuses on free skiing and drills. Day 2 & 3 are more drills and gate training. Day 4 is OFF and we offer fun activities either in Hood River, rafting the Deschutes River, or a trip to Portland. Day 5,6 & 7 include more gate training, free skiing and drills. Day 7 is also the travel day. At Keelys Ski Camp many of the all female coaching staff are recently retired from the U. S. Ski Team or are still racing at the highest levels (Olympic, World Cup, Noram, NCAA and FIS). Each day on the hill the coaches offer world-class visuals by training with and coaching the girls. 406-581-4991

First we will make our very own bubble wand using wire, then we will embellish them with beads, ribbons and sparkles to make each one unique.
