The Senior High Workshop (SHW) provides a fun, challenging, inspiring, and fulfilling week-long experience for teens while helping them to develop leadership skills needed to succeed in diverse environments. Through innovative leadership activities and engaging group challenges, students interact with both peers and staff to develop a unique leadership style to apply to their lives at home. Throughout the week, teens are encouraged to set goals and are given the tools to achieve them. Additionally, the students meet other teens from around the state and have the opportunity to form life-long friendships with each other. The SHW staff strive to empower teens to be the leaders they want to be in their community and agents of positive change in society.ELIGIBILITY For students entering Grades 9th -12th during the 2016-2017 school year 301-444-8623

My 12 year old son said he feels at home in this 4-H camp for youth ages 9 to 14. It has helped him become a leader, solve problems, increased his self-esteem, develop independent thinking skills and improved his communication skills. Campers are challenged to work together as teams in a week of diverse competitions, as well as outdoor rappelling, rock climbing and ropes courses. Chapel messages challenge teens to identify their beliefs and share their faith with their peers.
ECEA Youth Camping Trip - Killeen, TX
The youth have voted for their year-end field trip to be at Parrie Haynes Ranch for some camping and trail riding! If you are a current ECEA youth member, your campsite and day fees are paid for by youth club money raised at our youth fundraiser show. Please let me know if you are planning to attend, if you need RV hookups, how many horses you are bringing and how many people you are bringing so that I can make reservations next week. We will have orgainized group dinners and group breakfast. Bring your own drinks, lunches and snacks. It's going to be a blast!

Science Beach Camp Week 2 - Roundhouse Aquarium
Time: 9am-12pm Ages: 4-10 **pick up and drop off will be on 11th St and Manhattan Ave, near Beckers. There is a city event at the pier this week, so please leave extra time to get through traffic. *snacks provided *t-shirt included Activities may include: digging for sand crabs, playing in the waves, dissecting squid, learning about sharks, looking at plankton using a microscope, building sand sculptures, coke explosions, making crafts, building a boat, doing experiments, touching live animals, shooting a lemon cannon, playing beach games, and more! *A schedule of what activities will be done each day is available on our website: / Important Information: No refunds or credit without 2 business days notice for cancellation of any class -10% charge for all other cancellations -$10 charge for all class scheduling changes -There is a $10 charge per child for each 15 minutes a guardian is late for pick up -CPR/First aid certified staff present at all camps -All water activities done in front of LA county lifeguard tower -Average 3 campers per counselor, Maximum of 5 campers per counselor 310-379-8117
