This camp is designed to work with girls on the basic fundamentals of basketball. Individual skill drills include: shooting, dribbling, rebounding, passing, defense and offensive moves. Team/Group skill drills include: team offense/defense, moving without the ball, rebounding/blocking out. This is an event for us to do some work at the new camp and get to know the site. Some food will be provided and all that can show up and help will earn tasty AP! This is not a DR Event of a game running. Howerver all the DR community standards will be upheld. :)
Kid's Camp Out - Georgetown, KY
Join us for an end- of- summer camp out in the gym. We will have TVs set up for video games, movies, and play games throughout the night. Pizza and pancakes provided for dinner and breakfast. Feel free to bring sleeping bags and any extra snacks you may want. Please RSVP

I'll be competing for the chance to play at Summer Camp Music Festival in May! I'll be updating this with the times I play asap. But for now I know that it's based on a door poll so the more people that comes and votes the better! Also, it's only a 3$ cover! There's going to great music from local DJ's, but of course a vote for me is definitely preferred :)

As our Leader-In-Training, you will work side-by-side with our camp counselors to make Camp Imagineerz a magical place for children.You will learn about: design thinking positive child management how to foster a growth mindset and our very own Imagineerz i-can framework (based on psychology and neuroscience) Developed in conjunction with Stanford School of Education students, our program is an exciting learning opportunity for High School Students interested in Psychology, Child Development, Creative Arts and/or Theatre. This brand new class will use French songs and musical games to develop listening, memory and diction skills. Students will love exploring different styles of music and playing different instruments, allowing them to develop a sense of rhythm, musical interpretation and improvisation and enhancing self-confidence. This summer LPBA is partnering with the Chicago Bandits (womans professional softball team). Players and coaches from the Bandits will be on hand throughout the summer to work with our softball campers on hitting, pitching mechanics and defensive fundamentals. LPBA softball camp is open to girls ages 7-13. This new partnership will offer a truly unique camp experience for softball players in the Chicagoland area. Shakespeare in Performance - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This class is designed for 5th-9th grade students. Why Shakespeare? Why not! The stories are compelling and exciting. The characters thrilling and interesting. In the play well be working on this winter, they are also very comical! A Midsummer Nights Dream may be 450 years old, but its as funny today as when it was first performed in 1605. Under the guidance of Heather Sanderson, participants will present an abridged version of the play for a main stage presentation at the Annual LTA Showcase (April 1st & 2nd). During the course of the session, youngsters will learn acting methods naturally through a variety of theatre games, improvisation exercises and practical performance. INSTRUCTOR HEATHER SANDERSON studied classical theatre at RADA in London and prior to moving to Alexandria acted extensively in the San Francisco Bay Area. As "Miss Heather", she is known locally for instilling a love of theatre - in particular Shakespeare - into the hearts of children. Her youth Shakespeare troupes have performed in D.C. and in the U.K. and her privately coached monologue students have performed at the Shakespeare Theatre, the Fords Theatre and numerous community and childrens theatres in the area.
