Have you been taking lessons or playing in your school orchestra? Come to our String Chamber Camp! Gain confidence and independence as you play in small groups with no more than two students playing each part. Improve your ensembles skills and play more expressively with the help of MacPhail string faculty and teaching interns. Camp will conclude with a final performance for family and friends. Current MacPhail students do not need to audition. We will consult your instructor for your playing level. All other students can contact MacPhail Student Services to schedule an audition (612) 321-0100. Auditions will be held on Saturday, May 21 from 4:00-6:00. Boot camp Specifics: Advanced horsemanship with an emphasis in ground skills training, barrels, poles, jumping, trails, and obstacle competitions. Camp Details: Campers will learn about our everyday ranch life, experiencing what it's like to care for and tend to horses on a daily basis. They will work with our herd every day. Horseback Riding is a huge part of every day's activities. Campers learn Western and Huntseat Disciplines as well as horse health/hoof care, tack care & equine science. Advanced riders become a part of drill team exercises and are challenged to consistently improve their skills. Campers will be a member of a ranch family team in which they will have responsibilities. Crossroads Ranch Summer Camp is about young people taking an opportunity to get back in touch with themselves. 2016 Summer Camp Session 1 - Alex Box Stadium
Goals of the Camp: 1) to give young baseball players the experience of a lifetime in a $50+ million stadium on LSUs beautiful campus in a fun, safe, positive, and action-packed atmosphere 2) to learn tips that will help advance their baseball development from our outstanding veteran staff of coaches 3) to develop their skills in all aspects of the game through repetition, both through playing instructional games and by doing drills Skills Covered: Hitting, Position specific Fundamentals, throwing, base running, bunting, sliding Instructional Games: Campers will play one instructional game in the morning and one in the afternoon (lasting roughly 45 minutes- 1 hour) Format (with some flexibility) Morning Sessions (9am-Noon) will include one instructional game and two skill sessions Lunch (Noon-1:00pm) which will be provided, will offer the opportunity to eat lunch and relax Afternoon Sessions (1:00-4:00pm) will include an additional instructional game and two skill sessions Coaching Staff LSU Coaching staff members, other college coaches, high school coaches, club coaches, LSU players, other college player, former players looking to get into Additional FAQs *Campers will be separated by age and skill level, and we will make sure that all teammate requests are met. *All campers will receive... 225-578-4150

Freshwater can be the limiting factor for land animals and plants living on a barrier island. Sanibel is blessed with a natural supply of surface fresh water. We learn about Sanibels freshwater habitats and how they affect the local flora and fauna. In addition, we study one of the wetlands most notorious inhabitants, the American Alligator.
