Camp Grow weaves nature activities and games into the beauty of a public garden. A day at Camp Grow can include gardening, hikes, games, nature activities, storytelling, arts & crafts, music, yoga, and much more! Camp is Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Campers bring their own lunches/beverages each day. The camp fee for SPROUTS is $180 for residents of NOVA Parks jurisdictions (cities of Fairfax, Alexandria, Falls Church, and counties of Fairfax, Loudoun, and Arlington) and $200 for nonresidents. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sprouts are campers who will enter kindergarden, first grade, and second grade in the Fall. Teen Power Camp Begins Tuesday, 1 December! :) - Apollo Beach, FL
It's here! The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature. Saltwater Fishing WK5 PM - Eckerd College
There are multiple ways to enjoy saltwater fishing and children in this beginning level class will be introduced to many of them. Participants will fish from powerboats as well as from local fishing piers and seawalls. They will be taught how to identify different types of fish, how and where to catch them, and what types of bait and tackle to use.
