NFL Alumni Players & Cheerleaders Caring for Kids Campaigns - Jacksonv
The JVC TV Fundraiser program is in coordination with JVC, the NFL Alumni's mission of "Caring for Kids" and the NFL Play 60 Program, a program that promotes the idea of 60 minutes of exercise a day for kids of all ages. The fundraiser consists of two JVC TV’s, an HD 55” and the other an HD 65”. Only 300 tickets will be available exclusively on our web site for $20 each or 3 for $50. Each ticket has the opportunity to win one of the two TVs. Once the 300 tickets are sold no more will be available. It will be a first come, first serve event. The first ticket that is drawn will win the 55” TV, then the second ticket drawn will win the 65” TV. The grand drawing will be held during our 4th Quarter NFL Alumni "Meet & Greet", Nov. 19 6pm to 9pm, scheduled to be located at the BoneFish Grill in Jacksonville Beach. The drawing itself will be scheduled for 8pm.
Carson Senator "Spring Break" Youth Basketball Camp - Carson City, NV
MEFIYI (Me-For-Incredible-Youth, Inc), along with the Carson High School Basketball Program is offering a three day co-ed skills and development camp at the Carson High School Gym. AMP Camp Session 5 - SCDS
Would your children benefit from an early introduction to the upcoming middle school curriculum? Then the Amp Camp is just what they need. The Amp Camp, led by SCDS Middle School Learning Specialist, Mr. Benjamin Ford, will help set your child up for success. During Amp Camp 6th, 7th, and 8th grade campers will learn how to implement specialized study strategies to help them be more confident and better prepared for middle school. Each student will gain insight on how to be more organized and thoughtful about their study habits while also getting a jump start on the best way to engage challenging concepts and content. Amp Camp is a great way to help students prepare for their re-entry to school. Amp Camp is open to SCDS and non-SCDS students. Please note that Mr. Ford will gladly help students make the transition to their afternoon camp. 912-961-8859

We seek to integrate a biblical worldview in all our time we spend together. We understand this is a great opportunity not only to ell the campers about Gods Word, but also to show them how it is related to everyday life. Paul said it well when he wrote, "For me to live is Christ." That is what we model here for our campers. Social Emphasis: We also understand the importance of your child meeting and learning to work together with other children and adults. We will help them learn positive ways to make friends and guide them in being friends to others. Teamwork will also be taught through various games and activities. Physical Emphasis: No couch potatoes here! We dont want our campers to just hang out and waste their day so we work at keeping them going. Whether its a day trip to Six Flags, making human ice cream sundaes, a rousing game of kickball, or a walk to the local park, there is never a dull moment at Cornerstone!
