Sports for the Community was founded with one goal in mind, introducing our local youth to the substantial benefits of The Beautiful Game of Soccer. With over 20 years of experience from the most successful and influential soccer educators in our area. We welcome all levels of ability, boys and girls, from ages 4 -12. Our soccer educators are age specific specialists and can adapt to all situations. Holiday Break Teen Knitting Camp - Minneapolis, MN
In this 3 day knitting camp students will have the opportunity to work on either a basic scarf or a pair of mittens. For those who are new to knitting or want to fine tune their knitting a purling the scarf is an ideal choice. For those who are confident with knitting and purling the mittens are a great way to explore double pointed needles as well as some shaping. This class is for students age 12-18. --- This class meets December 28, 29, and 30, 2015 from 1-3pm. Register online or call 612-925-2454.

Elite Spring Clinic - DeNunzio Pool
The Elite Spring Clinic is for the serious athlete who has aspirations to play at the college level. The sessions will focus on individual skill development, team tactics and team play. Campers will receive high level instruction at every skill or game station from a coach who understands what it takes to play at the college level. Art Summer Camp/Fiber Arts: Ages 5-7 - Town of Harrisburg - Programs
August 22 - 26, 2016: Ages 5-7 - Fiber Arts - 9am to Noon: Campers will explore fiber arts. Using yarn to weave and crochet, scrap fabric to create a dream catcher, string to create jewelry and sim-ple hand sewing techniques campers will create an abundance of timeless handcrafted pieces. Instructor: Amanda Troffer has been teaching and practicing art for the last 10+ years, specializing in pottery and mosaic. LOCATION Harrisburg Town Halls Municipal Complex
Fashion: Upcycle It - Coyote Central
Join a fashion trend that is earning lots of attention these days. (Think Macklemore!) Youll look at thrift shop fashions and your own old favorites in new ways as you deconstruct and reconstruct them into entirely new looks. Your fashion designer/teacher will help you figure out how to chop them up and sew them back together in new and trending ways. If you want even more of a personal look, then stitching and painting are possibilities. Were thinking sweaters, jackets, and jeans but you can add bags, shoes, or scarves.
