Advocacy Training for Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign - Philadelp
The Pennsylvania Youth Recovery Campaign and The Bridgeway School would like to formally announce that legislation is officially being sponsored in both the House of Representative (Rep. John Taylor –[R] Philadelphia) and the Senate (Sen. Pat Browne -[R] Pennsylvania) to promote recovery high schools in Pennsylvania. When enacted, this bill will create an alternate class of school designated Recovery High School. These schools will be suited to address the educational and recovery support needs of high school age/eligible youth dealing with substance use disorders in Pennsylvania. These schools will ensure that students receive the tools necessary to retain long term recovery, achieve academic greatness, and promote family inclusion, support, and overall wellness through education and recovery. We need your help to raise awareness for, and champion this cause on behalf of all Pennsylvania Youth. Please also join us for an Advocacy Training event on February 25th and 7pm at The Bridgeway School. Through this training we will equip all supporters and stakeholders with the knowledge and tools to advocate in support of this vital legislation. Imagine a camp where kids are given the freedom, space and materials to build, create and play their way! Projects are offered, yet kids lead with their ideas and take ownership over the project outcomes. In KOOP's one of a kind camp, kids have access to a multitude of 'Loose Parts' to create, build and experiment freely! The kids will learn constantly by doing and pursuing their specific interests! Themed activities like: Marble Roller Coasters, Scene Sewing, Science Experiments, Baking, Fort Building, Nature Exploration and more will be offered. Registration is now open for Winter Camp! Camp emphasis will be on fundamental skill development and technique. Campers will be introduced to a variety of track and field events. 816-501-0011

Lachey Arts is proud to work in conjunction with Mariemont Schools to bring music theater to our elementary students. During the 10 week class, students will work on singing, dancing and acting skills. Parents will be invited to the final class to watch the performance. This class is open to students in kindergarten-3rd grade at Terrace Park Elementary. It takes place on Thursdays after school. *Please note- the class will start at 2:00 on Thursday, January 14th due to the early release scheduled that day. 513-272-7407

Wheelthrowing and Handbuilding for Teens - taught by Kimberly Zane All Materials Included. 8 weeks. The Kids and Teens classes teach wheelthrowing and handbuilding and are both an all levels course. It include all materials, firing and supplies. The projects are planned according to the levels in the classroom. 6177313262.0

An in-depth manuscript Bible study of Abrahams life in the book of Genesis. Picks up where Genesis leaves off. This track is designed for seniors who are graduating in May, and as such, is a shortened week of camp. Exact schedule is determined around participants graduation dates, but typically runs Mon-Friday. The teacher for the week will email everyone signed up after consulting your campus staff regarding the best time for seniors from each school to attend. Prerequisites: none. 609-947-9312
Horseback Riding - Coweta County Fairgrounds
Horsback riding is for one day only, during this time frame. The girls will be shuttled to Horsin Around where they will receive basic instruction on horse care and then a short ride on a horse compatible with their horse riding capability.
