Shockwave Fitness and Performance Sports Camps offer the perfect combination of expert training and FUN! Every parent wants greatness for their child/teen and our camps are designed to do just that! Our multi-sport camps are designed to improve every aspect of athletic development and sports performance, taking your young athlete from GOOD to GREAT. Beginning Fishing Camp - Black Hill Visitor Center
Enjoy a week of fishing fun and adventure while learning how, when, and where to catch freshwater fish. Well fish Little Seneca Lake first to get some experience, and then travel to waters outside of the park for new challenges. Park naturalists will provide expert, hands-on instruction on balanced tackle, live bait, artificial lure selection, knots, casting, and the latest fishing techniques. Well send out an itinerary and equipment list prior to camp. The camp fee includes all bait and a well-equipped tackle pack with a variety of lures and hooks perfect for the beginning angler. Mountain Biking Adventure 101 - Greensboro Day School
MOUNTAIN BIKING 101 $250 Grades 6+ June 13-17 8:30AM-2:00PM Did you know that within a half mile of the Greensboro Day School campus is access to over 35 miles of the best municipal mountain bike trails in North Carolina!?! Looking to build on a successful first year at the 2015 GDS summer camp , we are back for even more fun for 2016 with two sessions available! [MTB 101 June 13-17 and MTB 201 July 25-29] For a full week, your child will get the opportunity to safely explore our amazing local Greensboro mountain bike trails while also learning basic mountain bike repair and maintenance. Instruction will be provided from highly experienced local bike shop mechanics combined with skills instruction and guided rides from certified International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA) guides. This camp will split time between instruction, skills sessions and most importantly bike riding! All your child needs is a bike in good working condition with knobby tires and a helmet. Youth Golf Camp - Park Sites
Join us for Youth Sports popular golf program. Participants will get the chance to learn the rules of the game, develop their skills and fundamentals and HAVE FUN with the help of golf professionals from Dobson Ranch Golf Course. All equipment is provided. Participants must wear closed-toe athletic shoes or golf shoes. All participants should also bring water each day to stay hydrated in the summer heat. Weekend Competitive Bootcamp - Stanford
The Comptietive Bootcamp is designed for gymnasts who want to get serious about their training and make a push towards the next level. This camp is open to any and all entrants ages 6-18 years old but is intended for athletes who are already at a pre-team or competitive level. Training will be intense and skill focused.
