At StarMA, we’re getting into the action by throwing our own martial arts summer games, inspired by the big event in Rio. Ages 6-12 are perfect participants for this fun time, all experience levels can participate and compete!
Spring Break Kid On the Go Sewing Camp - Tulsa, OK
Boys and girls will have a ton of fun in our Kid-on-the-Go Sewing Camp! They will learn to sew several fun items to carry all their necessities when they are out-and-about this Spring Break! Cost is $175, all materials included. Ages 8 & up. We have sewing machines and tools, but students are welcome to bring their own. Class takes place Tuesday-Friday, March 13-18 from 1-3 p.m. Projects: Drawstring backpack, zipper pouch, pocket wallet/change purse, and a sunglass case or tissue pack cover. Teen Driving Boot Camp in East Rutherford
Students in the area will get to have their first (hopefully) Oh My God moment while driving their own vehicle. The only driving education offered to teens is Driver’s Ed in high school (sitting behind a desk) and then 6 hours behind the wheel to get their permit. Fremont Basketball Camp - Fremont Basketball Camp
The Fremont Basketball Camp is for boys and girls ages 5-14. The camps are one week in length, some camps are full days, other camps are half days. This is a summer basketball camp thart emphasizes fun and the fundamentals of basketball. The camp is held at Fremont High school in Sunnyvale during the month of June. Arroyo Seco Camp Group B 3rd week Jun 27 - Jul 1 - City of Pasadena
This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.The Arroyo Seco Adventure Camp offers opportunities to learn about our local, natural resources in a fun and exciting way. Now in its third year, this innovative camp pairs environmental education with traditional camp activities. Based in Brookside Park with regular activities in the lower Arroyo, this is an outdoor camp. The first week of camp focuses on origins of the Arroyo Seco and the geological events that created this amazing space. Other weeks focus on plants of the Arroyo, local animals and myths, protecting and exploring nature and survival skills. Conservation specialisits lead daily nature walks and instruct on conservation of environmental resources, native plants and local wildlife. Other activities include casting pond fly-fishing, archery, horseback riding, hiking, environmental education lessons, swimming, art and group games. Campers go on a weekly environmental themed field trip. In previous years, trips included kayaking, nature centers and local farms. Staff ratio is 1 to 10. Take part in epic games of capture the flag on local ranches and learn more about Greek Mythology. Campers can expect to participate in intense battles, missions, experiments, and plenty of nature exploration. Well spend some time exploring the new Magnus Chase series, as well! This camp includes an exciting overnight at Steamboat Lake! Campers will attend camp 8:30-5 M-F, Thursday is 8:30 drop-off with overnight, Pick-up at 1pm on Friday. 855-426-6587
