Veteran's Day Teen Service Project - Seattle, WA
Put your school holiday days to work! Join us on Veteran’s Day, November 11, for a service day in the local Seattle community. Pack a lunch, snacks and water to stay energized for our project. Friday morning will be spent at Rainier Beach Urban Farm and Wetland. We will be helping to restore the wetland habitat by removing invasive weeds, spreading mulch, and planting native trees and shrubs! $15 fee to participate includes staff supervision and transportation to service projects.

Shake off winter and visit Camp Long for a day of fun outdoor experiences! Camp Long is celebrating its 75th birthday, and what better way to celebrate than to put the camp though its paces. Youth Outdoor Adventure Day will be a free day of fun activities open to the public, for boys and girls aged 10-20. Planned activities include: archery, high-wire challenge course, rock climbing, rifle shooting, dutch oven cooking, orienteering, fire building, tomahawk throwing, geocaching, robotics, and s'more!

Do you know WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE this Spring Break? At MCT, of course! Join us for a week long camp as each grade level works on a performance piece inspired by Maurice Sendaks Where the Wild Things Are or one of his other works, like Little Bear, Chicken Soup with Rice, or Higglety Pigglety Pop. Session I: Day session from 8:30 am-3:30 pm Session II: Night session from 4 pm-8 pm (only 4 nights--no Friday night camp Boys and girls in grades 4-11 Every camper will take a short break between the end of the Day Session (3:30) and the start of the night session (4:00 PM) to rehydrate, have some snacks and get refreshed before transitioning to the night session. Campers coming for the whole day should bring snacks/lunch/drinks...bring a ball or purchase a camp ball from our camp store....come ready to play. Session I (days) is different from the night session. Session I offers a traditional style camp with regular teams and games.
