We will work with local directors to learn technique, stage blocking and tableaus, the audition process, vetting and preparing a show, ect. Guest directors will visit with us to tell us about their personal techniques. There are VERY limited spots. An application will be available for the first two weeks of June. This is FREE OF CHARGE! We do hope to host a teen show this spring, and the production team will come from this camp.

Teen Artist Work/Study - MacRostie Art Center
The MacRostie Art Center work/study program for teen artists increases accessibility to our educational programming for teens while providing opportunity to experience real-world visual art administration and will look great on any resume or college application. Teen artists may choose to focus on experience in exhibitions and curatorial work, art education, event planning, or any other aspect of what the MAC does for the art community. This opportunity is open to artists ages 15-18. For every 6 hours worked, students will receive a $60 voucher towards the tuition of any MacRostie art workshop to be used in the following year. As we stomp around the beautiful parkland surrounding Old Trail, campers will learn how to use a few standard photographic techniques to improve their photo taking. Then, in class, we will learn how to download and improve our images and make them rock. Well be inside, well be outside, wherever photos lurk, we will be searching for them. In the process, we will learn how to see in a new light. Campers should bring a cell phone camera, a USB cord to download photos to a computer and a CD or jump drive to store finished photos.
