Eco-Explorer After School Club AWARD WINNING PROGRAM **Voted 2nd Place for Best Afterschool Program by Severna Park Voice! Grades K – 8 Mon-Fri 4-6pm (students will be divided up into groups for age appropriate instruction and activities) Throughout each excitement-filled 8 week session, students will enjoy a variety of hands-on FUN activities that are guaranteed to blow their minds! From animal interactions, to games, hikes, some field trips, experiments and crafts. Students will also enjoy guest speakers from various professions such as, veterinary medicine, herpetology (special visits and instruction will be provided by National Geographics Dr. Brady Barr), marine biology, animal rescuing, zoo keeping, falconry, The Brickhouse, Jing Ying Kung Fu, learn about genetics with snake breeder, and much more to see what it takes to have an animal career! Daily lessons include animal care and husbandry, animal training and enrichment, public speaking, research tactics, program planning, team building, and leadership. This program is ideal for students who are interested in training to be an EcoAdventures Jr. Assistant. The 8th installment of the famous "B Pat Rager" will be a high intensity weekend long camping event full of live music, mayhem, and a hangover that will last well into your work week. Expect the unexpected, our largest event did over 1.2k people. You have the freedom to bring what you want to your camping area (Sterio, bbq grill, pong table) As far as smashing on some food goes - our friend Craig Jackson will be bringing back his tasty BBQ cart There will be a NEW security team on the premises. ANY unwanted physical contact will NOT be tolerated at all. Kid’s Camp at Posh is a wonderful and creative activity for the kids while they are off school for break! 10am-1pm…Ages 4 and up! $24.00 for 3 hours includes a painting class with step by step instruction through the painting of the day, games, face painting, and more! Volleyball Camp - JrHS/HS Residential Camp - Chico State University - Acker Gym
The Junior High School/High School camp is designed for the boy or girl volleyball player, ages 12-18, who is preparing for the upcoming season. The camp offers the opportunity to explore new techniques for learning the fundamental volleyball skills. The mornings and afternoons will emphasize individual and team skills and how to incorporate them into overall team play. The evenings will be primarily six-on-six team play through various games and tournaments. With great instruction and good competition, the camper should depart camp with a newfound confidence in his or her game.
