Bird Adventure Camp - Jefferson County Parks and Recreation Commission
The camp will explore subjects such as behavior, biology, science of flight, birds? jobs in nature, diet, husbandry, and the importance of conservation and biodiversity. Under close adult supervision there will be hands on interaction with real, live birds. Each day one or two different birds will visit camp. Camp will include education, scrapbook making, crafts, feedings and creative play. Please send a healthy snack with your child each day. Located in the heart of the Silicon Valley, see firsthand how advanced technologies positively impact injury recovery and training. Recommended for high school students interested in sports medicine or a career in athletic training. Students should have experience in a sports medicine program, have attended the basic camp, or have attended the 2015 camp.
