Harvesters are our oldest camper group of 9 and 10 year olds. They participate in all camp activities in the garden, tending the animals, crafting, and cooking. Teen Boys Adventure Camp - Wyalusing, PA
The Cost is $150.00 for a week long over night camping experience. It is for teen boys ages 13 - 17. TBAC is designed for teen boys who want to spend a week in the great outdoors. The camp is designed to introduce new skills, experiences, and friendships to each camper. Each camper will enjoy activities like compass orienteering, kayaking down the Susquehanna River, and primitive camping. Between getting dirty and getting wet, campers will be learning new things about God’s creation, and that God has created each one of them for something great! Pottery Camp w/Painting Studio, Ages 8-12 - The Yard School of Art At Montclair Art Museum
SummerART Camp Full Day Pottery Program 9:30am to 5pm Pottery Camp with Painting Studio Session III: July 25 to August 5 Pottery Camp This camp is for children who are interested specifically in working with clay to create pottery, sculpture, and more. Campers are grouped in age-specific classes (6 to 8, and 9 to 12). Campers will have the opportunity to use the Museums diverse collection of Native American pottery as inspiration. Much of the work created in Pottery Camp will be kiln fired, some will be functional, some will be decorative, and all of it will be treasured for years to come. Much of this artwork will be displayed at the receptions in Leir Hall at the end of each session. Dog Trick Week 7 - Animal Training Adventure Center
Dog Trick Training is a great way to have fun with your dog, and it allows campers to open up a genuine form of two-way communication between them and their dog. Trick training also helps build confidence in dogs and their handlers; and the more tricks you teach, the faster your dog will learn each new skill. Each session will focus on learning a series of three dog tricks, with bonus learning opportunities for exceptionally skilled dogs. This session will utilize training skills and techniques developed by Kyra Sundance, a world-acclaimed Stunt Dog Show performer, celebrity dog trainer, and internationally bestselling author. Campers will have the opportunity to learn and practice advanced dog training skills in order to train their dog to perform tricks. Campers can choose to train their own dog, or they can work with a rescue puppy or dog available at camp. Dogs must be able to focus on their owner and work around other dogs. Campers will start with beginner tricks, followed by intermediate tricks, and finally advanced tricks. Campers can register for this session as many times as they want, learning new tricks each week. "Meet Spot" Week 6 - Animal Training Adventure Center
This session is for young campers age 7 who love puppies and dogs, or young campers who need to overcome a fear of dogs. Campers will be introduced to basic responsibilities of pet ownership and the needs of a canine companion by working with rescue puppies and dogs. Campers will engage in play and structured games involving puppies and dogs that teach dog handling skills, dog safety, and promote having fun with a dog. This session will also include animal-themed family movies, animal-themed arts and craft projects, and homemade dog treats prepared by campers.
