Has your child been bitten by the archery bug? Join our certified NASP and ATA archery instructors for an exciting week focusing on all things archery. We?ll start with an introductory session, so no previous experience is needed and then progress through more advanced programs and use different types of equipment as the week progresses. Does your child love to jump, hop, stretch and spin? Dance class promotes teamwork and self-discipline through a variety of props mixed with creative and traditional dance. Students who continue with lessons throughout the school year are eligible to participate in a formal recital at the Times Union Center in May. *Additional fees apply for this event. TECH IT OUT- Robotics I-Stories or Interactive Stories is a hands-on minds on learning experience that enhances students reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through project-based learning and STEM Literacy. STEM literacy relates to a students ability to understand and apply concepts from science, technology, engineering and mathematics in order to solve complex problems. Campers will use LEGO WeDo to constructing their own stories with over 20 main characters models featuring working motors and sensors to choose from; code their models; and explore a series of cross-curricular, theme-based activities that develop their literacy skills of reading, writing, designing, speaking and listening. One Week Half-Blood - CAMP DEMIGOD INSTITUTE
Campers (ages 9-15) will experience our unique program centered on innovation, mentorship, leadership and community-building. DIGIVATIONS Camp Demigods Camp Half-Blood Unites with Camp Jupiter are a blend of world building through innovation, role playing and speculative fiction. These Camps are based on the principles that kids have an enormous reservoir of creativity and innovative ideas which they look forward to sharing with other like-minded individuals who hold common interests. Please register using a computer. Please do not use a tablet or smart phone when you register because the program will not work properly. The registration process takes about an hour and asks you to answer about 50 questions. The program does not allow you to save your work, so it is best to answer the questions in one sitting, electronically sign all the waivers and pay your deposit so you are fully registered.
