Annual Teen Summer Program Expo - Fort Washington, PA


Lexington Family Magazine Summer Camps & Activities Fair - Lexington,
Visit booths representing camps, afterschool activities, birthday party venues, health care professionals, schools and more at our 14th Annual Fair. The Fair will be held at Lexington Christian Academy at 450 W. Reynolds Rd. just across the street from Meijer and behind Fayette Mall. We fill both of the gyms at the school. Each booth will have a fun activity for kids while Mom and Dad chat with the professionals. You'll find giant inflatables, face painting, costumed characters, games and giveaways. While you are there you can enter your kids in our Cover Model Contest. Professional photographer Lucy Chesnut, of Glitter and Sawdust Studios, will take photos of all their smiling faces and we'll use those pictures to choose winners who will appear on the covers of Lexington Family Magazine in the next year. We'll also have performances all day long from some of the most talented kids in the bluegrass including dancers, martial artists, gymnasts and more. Best of all? IT'S FREE! Teen Leadership Retreat & MLK Day of Service - Vashon, WA
The Teen Leadership Retreat takes place every year in January is geared towards teens who want to learn more about leadership and to get involved in Camp Fire and Camp Sealth. The event is not limited to previous participants of Camp Fire programs; we encourage ALL interested teens to attend. Workshops will include individual leadership skills, classic camp activities, and an optional half-day service project in Seattle. Radio Stories - The Evergreen School
There are all kinds programs on the radio: music, talk shows, journalism, radio dramas, and many more. In Radio Stories, students will create and record a variety of their own radio programs and experience what its like to work at a real radio station. August 1-4:Backpacking-2 Night(Ages 9-12) - Mountain Kids!
This two night, three day backpacking trip will provide campers an opportunity to challenge themselves and enjoy the beauty and serenity of being out in the wilderness. Campers will learn how to prepare and pack for a backpacking trip, the 6 Ws of preparing for any outdoor trip, map reading and leave no trace principles.
