This 68 year old camp is designed for children from 2nd grade to 11th grade. The camp has a strong Jewish heritage which influences the activities they offer. My 12 year old son enjoys the friendly staff and the fun activities. He has grown in confidence while discovering who he is in relation to the community at large. Wahoo for the Thanksgiving Teen Event. I love this event! We'll do some outreach on Wednesday (probably giving out hot chocolate or tea at the balloon inflation) and then partner with Gobble Gobble Give to rock out Thanskgiving Morning serving--and then head home to do Thanksgiving with our own families. If you're coming from further away and want to do Thanksgiving here-that's also totally cool. Get excited and save the date!

City Hill Youth and Impact Ministry have teamed up to bring you CAMP 2016! This year's theme is COMMISSION based on Isaiah 6:8 "And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.” We have been saved, reedemeed, given a new identity as sons and daughters of the King. We have been COMMISSIONED to something greater than going through the motions of everyday life. Join us this year as we take three days to dive into this theme through worship, prayer, teaching of the word, team activities and so much more! Registration opens June 1st. The price will be $170 until August 1st. After that it will go up to $185. Don't miss out, register as soon as possible! Volleyball: Middle School Team Skills - Main Campus
The Harding Team Skills Volleyball Camp for 6th to 8th graders builds on the skills acquired during the June Individual Skills Camp (serving, passing, setting, attacking). Fast-paced team drills and games focused on enhancing court awareness, better understanding of game flow, anticipation, readiness, transitioning between offense and defense. Middle School girls continue developing team synergy, as well as achieving an advanced level of proficiency, utilizing three hitters, serving aggressively to get more aces, and converting serve-receive into a kill. Camp serves as a good jump-start in preparing for the Harding volleyball season (August-September). Daily team recognition. Camp ends with a tournament, which is always a blast. Join us for some serious, but always fun, volleyball. Coaches include Carol Green, Harding Head Varsity Volleyball Coach, Stephen Rhein, Harding Assistant Varsity Volleyball Coach, Amanda Millikan, Harding JV/6th gr. Calling all inventors! Work to overcome a series of challenges using basic materials, simple machines, tips from famous inventors and most important of all – your mind! With a little bit of ingenuity you can create aircrafts, construct working light sticks to take home, and assemble a set of circuits with batteries and light bulbs. While Thomas Edison said "invention is 10% inspiration and 90% perspiration", this camp is 100% FUN! Our popular day camps return with exciting experiential themes. Campers can learn firsthand what its like to be an animal keeper and care for our rescued wild animals, discover frontier life skills, experiment with earth science and create art and photography inspired by High Desert nature and culture. Our childhood education experts have designed these week-long day camps to inspire ages 5 through 10 with unique, enriching hands-on experiences. Our campers have so much fun, they dont realize how much they are learning! Parents rave about the quality and value of our camps. Every day, children in each camp meet the Museums live animals, such as owls, porcupines and reptiles, and learn about them from our biologists and educational staff.
