The non-padded, light contact camp aims to improve youth football IQ through position-specific techniques, fundamentals and skills development. The CrossFit Apogee Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Learn to turn your own baseball bat. Students will learn the basics of wood spindle turning. Learn safe shop practices and procedures that will make woodturning safe and fun. Students will take home a baseball bat. Students will walk away with a basic understanding of how to operate and maintain a wood lathe and wood turning tools. Students will be allowed open studio time on Sundays during the week of class. On this day, students are welcome to come to the shop and use the tools to catch up and refine the classroom project.
