What Are the Activities like at Summer Camp?
The whole point of summer programs is to keep youth busy. Thus, most kids wake up and have breakfast by 8am. Traditional activities include arts and crafts, sports, swimming and boating. There are groups that offer specialized or advanced activities like archery, horseback riding, and sailing. An activity like horseback riding may have an additional cost or require that youth come to camp with special equipment and clothing.
Specialty camps have specific classes or activities linked to their mission. For example, academic programs will include classes, religious camps will have Bible study, and leadership-focused programs may have public speaking sessions....

June 15-19, 9:00am-4:00pm, $200/kiddo Hosted by Missoula Fencing Association and Moksha Studio. For kids ages 7-10 years old who wanna be a Pirate AND join the Circus. Monday - Friday 9am-12:30pm: PIRATE (hosted by Missoula Fencing Association) Monday - Friday 12:30pm- 4:00pm: CIRCUS (hosted by Moksha Aerial Studio) PIRATE: Come express your inner pirate! We get our youngest fencers started learning fencing basics with lots of fun and games in this week long camp. KEYBOARDING (Beginner & Intermediate Typing Lessons): Grades – 5th – 7th – 3:00-3:45 – Marta Pizarro – ($120), 12 students Beginner students will learn the home row keys, top row keys, and bottom row keys. Intermediate students will learn capitalization, basic punctuation, and numbers. This course will help students with memorization of the keyboard while enhancing speed, accuracy and efficiency. It will also help students be prepared for the state-mandated PARCC Assessments. Students will learn through fun and interactive typing games. (201) 427-1458

Teachers: Erin Lea-Dougherty and Pam Peters In this week-long camp, students will identify social issues that need help being solved. They will use a variety of materials to create costumes, tools, sidekicks, comic strips, and more that address social injustices. The week will conclude with the students dressing up and becoming their super hero and parading around the neighborhood. We close online registration 24 hours prior to camp start.
