SOFTBALL CAMP - Adams Park
Lace up your cleats and get ready to play ball! Campers will learn the basics of pitching, catching, fielding, throwing, hitting and base running. Well spend the day working on skills, drills and techniques and then apply the fundamentals during scrimmages. Supplies: Campers should bring their own bat and glove, and a packed lunch with a beverage and plenty of water each day. All campers should arrive at camp with sunscreen already applied, as well as with additional sunscreen, as needed. We recommend a sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Summer Camp: Session 1-O Group - Roycemore School
In three age-appropriate groups, campers are guided in all the traditional day camp fun by our experienced staff. Activities include creative arts and crafts, drama, storytelling, music, games, gym and cooking. Frequent field trips range from area parks, movies and bowling, to the zoo, water slides and more. Jr Robotics - 1/2 Day - Bricks
Our 1/2 day Jr Robotics class is the best of the Explorer camp but with shorter days for those that dont want a full day camp. If your young children dream of creating and inventing with LEGOs and technology then this is the camp for them! Just like our popular after school courses, campers will use the LEGO® WeDo® system to learn how simple machines work with programmable motors and sensors. THE CHALLENGES ARE ALL NEW AND JUST FOR SUMMER CAMPERS! Learn exciting and new ways to use pulleys, levers and gears to build and program ALL NEW machines! History 1 6/20 - 6/24 - Rockridge BART - (base of the escalators)
This is our History 1 week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips while using public transportation to navigate our way. The week will be comprised of the schedule below*. Day 1: Alcatraz Day 2: GG Bridge/SF Maritime Museum Day 3: Oakland Walking Tour/Oakland Museum of California Day 4: De Young Museum (may be substituted) Day 5: USS Hornet (Days may not be in the specific order above) We meet at Rockridge BART station every morning at 8 AM then travel the city to our destination or destinations.
