This Girl Scout Camp is nestled in nature’s paradise between meadows, woodlands and a beach area. My 11 year old daughter loves to participate in archery, swimming, kayaking, crafts, boating and hiking. She has developed a love for nature along with improved social skills. Session 1: June 13-July 8 (No camp on 7/4) - Summit Schools
3-year olds (who are toilet trained) to children entering Kindergarten may enroll for 5, 3 OR 2 half days of preschool. A small class size of 8 students to 1 early childhood certified teacher enhances learning. The groundwork for early language, math and science skills is formed utilizing multi-sensory, child-centered activities. A unique phonics-based teaching system brings the alphabet to life, as it lays the foundation for reading. Each session is 4 weeks long - 5 day option: Monday-Friday - 3 day option: Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 2 day option: Tuesday, Thursday *Please consider sending your 4 or 5 year olds to our PreK kindergarten readiness Camps (see "2016 Summer Themed Camps" and look for PreK camps). These afternoon sessions are an opportunity for your 4 or 5 year old to prepare for a full day of school. Have your child experience the local wonder of the great outdoors through Encinitas parks, trails, ocean and wild life. Our caring and experienced camp staff share the goal of providing a fun and safe environment that helps nurture the social, physical, educational and emotional wellbeing of each child. Campers will enjoy a healthy daily snack and a weekly field trip in addition to all the fun activities that are offered throughout the week. Please join us this summer there are several great memories just waiting to be made at Seaside Day Camp! Seaside Day Camp hours of operation are 9 am ? 3 pm. Water is an important resource for life and fun on a hot summer day! We will go on adventures to find the FUN in water, and will learn a lot in the process. We will go into the Santa Fe watershed to learn first hand where our water comes from and where it goes. We will hunt for aquatic macro-invertebrates (a new, big word!). We will talk about how and why to conserve water, and get some first hand experience with the power of water at Bandelier National Monument. 505-699-6230
