Teen Photography Camp - Cincinnati, OH
Bring any point & shoot, mirrorless, or DSLR Camera with 1 lens and lets go on photo safari! Campers join professional photojournalist Malinda Hartong as they explore digital photography. Digital camera with 1 lens is preferred. Through our camp we will cover the following: Composition - explore ways to use zoom, change up focus, and much more! Exposure and Flash - easy pro tips for any camera to totally change your images. Macro - look closer, shoot amazing photos of tiny things. Kid's Yoga Camps - Pittsford, NY
Owner of Flower City Yoga and Art Therapist, Nora Doebrich will be hosting 3 very special Yoga Camps, this Summer. Activities will include; fun movment/yoga games, arts and crafts intended to calm the mind, anatomy education to build body awareness, yoga poses to promote self-esteem, group directives to create a sense of community and excerises to increase relaxation. We also have Mary Stachowski of Food, Fun and Friends who will be joining us for the Thursday of each week. Together we will be cooking a healthy snack for us to enjoy. 7/11- 7/15 Ages 5-7 7/25-7/29 Ages 8-10 8/8-8/12 Ages 11-13 Camps will run Monday- Friday 1pm-3pm. Kidconomics Camp Dont break the bank! Make the bank! Junior business owners create their own economic system that includes currency and play at being in charge of their company. In teams, campers learn to budget, earn an income, and develop a business. Business research includes fun field trips for interviewing local businesses owners to gather information to invent a product for selling and marketing. Find your inner entrepreneur. This camp is a great "stimulus package" for each childs best economic interests!! Campers will be divided by grade into developmentally appropriate groups. Enroll now ! Week 2 (Ages 8-13) - Hannah Block Historic USO/Community Arts Center
Full Day Enrollment 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Morning Only (9:00am-Noon) Clowning Around - This fun-filled camp will be perfect for your young jokester. Using improvisation and short scenes, students will learn how to make strong character choices and work with objectives and relationships in this creative acting class. Afternoon Only (1:00 - 4:00 pm) Behind the Curtains of OZ - This week we will be building the yellow brick road to OZ along with light and sound design! The campers will also learn the basics in doing hair and makeup. All campers will be a part of the Wizard of Oz production running the weekend of July 1-2.
