What a wonderful time she had at Shane Weight Loss Camp. For the first time she was excited about doing physical activities. She's back home now and teaching us all how to eat healthy and stay fit. Projects designed specifically for teens ages 13-17... learn about sewing, how to read patterns, how to use a sewing machine, different stitch options, etc. We will be making projects during the week (Monday-Thursday 10am-4pm) and then having a "showcase" party on Friday July 31st from 12-2pm to show off what the teens have made. ***Kids will need a sack lunch*** *** Sewing machines are available to rent if you don't have one... a $10 per day rental fee applies and we must know BEFORE the class starts if your child needs to rent a machine***

Our young athletes celebrate the wide world of sports with a weeklong competition featuring sports and games from all over the globe. After the closing ceremony, campers will take their Friday field trip to the Riverwinds Community Center for some wall climbing, water sliding, and more! While morning activities are geared toward the weeks theme, all weekly FSMH camps include a trip to the pool Monday-Thursday for a swim lesson and play time. Full Day Enrollment 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Morning Only (9:00am-Noon) Clowning Around - This fun-filled camp will be perfect for your young jokester. Using improvisation and short scenes, students will learn how to make strong character choices and work with objectives and relationships in this creative acting class. Afternoon Only (1:00 - 4:00 pm) Behind the Curtains of OZ - This week we will be building the yellow brick road to OZ along with light and sound design! The campers will also learn the basics in doing hair and makeup. All campers will be a part of the Wizard of Oz production running the weekend of July 1-2. THIS YEARS SPRING SHOW IS CHARLOTTES WEB! A Non-Musical - Based on the book by E.B. White. Directed by Kirsten Raymond Learn performance skills and grow as an actor while directly applying the new knowledge to a full production performance of Charlottes Web. Through rehearsals and theater games and exercises, students will hone skills in acting and movement in a supportive group environment. Charlottes Web auditions will take place on March 2nd at the HCA. 2nd -3rd graders should arrive for their audition at 5:15 pm. They should prepare a short poem of their choice or read one of the poems provided in the attachment. 4th - 8th graders do not have to schedule an appointment. Please arrive anytime between 5:45 pm - 6:15 pm. Auditioners will be seen one at a time in the order of their arrival. There are two attachments of audition material for this age group.
