Focus and fun is the premise behind our children's day camp run by qualified staff from Enshin Karate and Radiant Beginnings Yoga. Our martial arts class, is taught by 4 time world champion Mike Ninomiya and his lovely wife Diana Ninomiya. Both of whom have been certified to teach in Denver Public Schools in the Radiant Beginnings enrichment program. 04th 2016 Camp, Horse Lovers OVERNIGHT - Blue Point Stables
This "Horse Lovers" OVERNIGHT Camp begins on a Monday at 9:00 am and continues until Friday at 4:00 pm. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cooler days and rain gear when needed. Their breakfasts, lunches, dinners and drinks for each day will be provided by BPS. Daily change of clothing is recommended during the hotter weeks. Swimming is optional and up to the camper However, a bathing suit and personal beach towel is required. Meals. beginning with lunch on Monday and ending with lunch on Friday (includes all Breakfasts, Lunches & Dinners), will be provided for each overnight camper through the week. The purpose is to build a super car powered by more than one source of energy. This can be one crazy looking vehicle. We provide you with many materials for that dynamic vehicle that you will build. Also get to build a Egg Drop Car. The purpose is to build a gravity vehicle that can cushion a raw egg as the car holding the egg is dropped from a high height. We provide you with the material to cushion the fall. You have to be creative. In these three challenges in one workshop, you will learn about Laws of Motion, Energy, Air Pressure, Friction, Lift, Speed and Acceleration.
