FA-Star Wars Padawans Camp (Aug 8-12) - Dairy Knoll
Welcome Initiates! Youa re about to take your first step toward becoming a Padawan learner and understanding The Force. These are troubled times and we need you. Learn the ways of the Jedi and fulfill your destiny during this week of Jedi Training. Activities include: Lightsaber training, exploration, hunts, pod racing, learning the code, evasive movement training, learning the force, reasoning, padawan testing and much more! Please pack a daily lunch and snack except for Fridays where a feast will be provided. KODA Youth Girls (Ages 13–16) - Camp Mark 7
Camp Mark Seven offers a place where hearing children of Deaf parents could come together to learn about, and better understand the two worlds that they simultaneously live in, and where they could explore, identify, and strengthen their unique C/KODA identities and develop individually as leaders. All of this would occur, ideally, in a recreational camping environment that would foster a lot of interaction and activities for each child and youth. Program activities: Swimming and tubing. Paddle a canoe on the chosen rivers/lakes and camp out under the stars. Low ropes course. Diverse outdoor games. Arts & crafts. Hike different mountains. Evening Bonfires. Shopping in Old Forge and Inlet. Campers will create skits for Parents Night; Parents Night is offered at the end of the program, and family members are invited to come and watch their childs skits. Camp Splash I - Off the Beaten Path Bookstore
This camp is all about getting wet! Learn about the issues surrounding water locally and around the world. Well read a variety of books about water adventures and even have a river rafting adventure of our own! Campers will explore the waterways in our Yampa River Valley and try their hands at catching aquatic insects and fish. This camp includes an overnight rafting trip with Camp Splash II students. Students will attend camp in Steamboat M-W 8:30-5PM. Leave Steamboat early Thursday morning and return Friday at 1pm. 855-426-6587
