Wanna go Wild Kratts? Come on an adventure with the coolest creatures! Cheetah speed and lizard glide, falcon flight and lion pride! Make your own creature suits and learn about a different animal and their awesome creature powers every day. There will be so many ways for us to play and learn about animals: dramatic play, crafting & art, fine and gross motor activities, literacy and math practice, and lots of science. We will wrap up our creature adventures with a trip to the zoo to see those creature powers in action! Students will learn different aspects of line, shadow, volume, and composition by working from drawings of the Masters - still life and plein air. Create beautiful still lifes and plein air landscape paintings from photos, models, and nature. Coaches will work with players to develop their technical ability as well as discover a better understanding of the game in a fun and energetic environment. All participants will receive an official D.C. United camp ball, an official camp t-shirt, a ticket voucher to a D.C.
