This NXT-based space adventure is designed for use with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® bricks and software. Our program for the week provides everything needed to facilitate an exciting STEM-based robocamp. STEM stands for: Science-Technology-Engineering-Math, and is a fundamental part of this camp by providing a hands-on minds-on environment. We are still looking for some interested teens for the TCTA Theatre Arts Program! It's free, there are 2 sessions at 2 different locations June 13-July 8 @ Hancock Recreation Center July 11- Aug. 5 @ Doris Miller Auditorium Monday - Friday 1-5PM Write, direct, perform and tour to other camps a contemporary performance piece that will include written word, dance, puppetry, etc. The Artists we have hired for the camp have an extensive performance and technical background. You will be taking tours of local theatre spaces and seeing performances around town. This is truly a unique experience if you have an interest in the theatre arts and performance art. Teens ages 13-17 will work with Ignites’ experienced instructors to learn the arts of Glass Blowing, Solid Sculpting, and Flameworking. No prior glass experience necessary. Each student will create at least 3 finished glass projects, blown and/or solid during the session. $350 per person

Pricing this year will be the same as last year, $15 per person per night for tenters ( 1 wrist band ) $33 per night for rvs 20/50 amp (2 wrist bands included) $59 queen cabin per night (3 wrist bands) $79 king cabin per night (4 wrist bands). As of now the Dry Creek Store is closed, so please bring extra food and supply's that you might need during your stay! We will keep you informed about any changes as we learn them.

Honors Pre-Calculus - Hopkins Campus
This course is open to Blake students who have successfully completed Honors Algebra II and who seek to enroll in AP Calculus AB after completing Honors Geometry; Blake students who have successfully completed Honors Algebra II and Honors Geometry and who seek to enroll in AP Calculus AB; Students from outside Blake who seek to complete the equivalent of a full-year Honors Pre-Calculus course during the summer. They must possess a strong foundation in algebra because the course contains advanced material and moves at a rapid pace; it is not recommended for remedial purposes. Before registering, Blake students must obtain their teachers permission to advance, as indicated by a signed Mathematics Acceleration Contract. Successful advancement requires a grade of B or higher on each of the comprehensive exams given during the summer course. This course emphasizes functions and their characteristics. Topics include: function notation and transformations; combinations and compositions of functions; linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions; and analytical trigonometry. In addition, sequences, series, parametric equations and limits are introduced in preparation for calculus. Students will meet twice a week to gain a broad education in auditioning, scene work, dance, musical theatre, and overall performance. Come play yoga! During this simultaneously fun and calming week girls will learn about yoga, mindfulness training, and their selves. Through yoga and mindfulness training students will begin to better understand themselves and the needs of those around them. We will work towards a positive self image and increased confidence through yoga and fun activities which allow one to care for the body. Each day will offer something new and fun such as manicures, henna tattoos, mandala coloring, and even mala making. The girls will keep their mala and be equipped with tools to continue their meditation work on their own. If you are looking for a fun week of crafts, games, learning, and relaxation this is the perfect camp for you! This is a hip-hop and breaking camp. Students will move and groove to funky beats and create a music video to share with friends and family. Children should bring a snack and water bottle to each class. Camp includes a fifteen minute break.
