LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Bill Waris Blue Jays Spring Basketball Camp - Saint Thomas More
The Bill Waris Blue Jays Basketball Club will be hosting a Spring Basketball Camp at Saint Thomas More Grade School on April 2nd and 3rd for grades 3rd through 8th grade. The camp will held for grades 3rd-5th on Saturday from 9am-11am and Sunday from 12pm-2pm. Grades 6th-8th grade will be held on Saturday from 11am-1pm and Sunday from 2pm-4pm. CJ and Nick Naudet 4 year Varsity Basketball Lettermen from Bishop OHara High School and Timothy Waris Jr. currently playing on the varsity basketball team from Rockhurst High School will be running the basketball camp and showing the young campers what they have learned over the years playing basketball at Bishop OHara and Rockhurst High School. The cost is only $45.00 dollars per camper. Discounts available for multiple children in your family. Please register athttps://campscui.active.com/orgs/BillWarisBluejaysBasketballClub. We will raffle off great items including NBA Basketball Jerseys. Camp is limited to 50 kids per session so please register early as we expect this to fill up quickly based on our previous camps. My daughter absolutely loves Camp Timberline. It is designed to explore the unique topography of Hawaii. The camp is designed for children from Kindergarten through 8th grade. Our campers gain access to the Museums galleries outside of normal operating hours as they discover artistic design principles through drawing, painting, and sculpting techniques! Led by Museum faculty and inspired by our current exhibitions, the Museums popular Art Camps teach kids how to look at, talk about, and create their own art. Each student receives an art supply kit containing all the materials they need, and the camp culminates in a one-day public exhibition of student work. Young artists explore drawing, painting mixed media, sculpture, and design as they visit the galleries to gather inspiration from exhibited artwork.
