3D printers have incredible uses, from building tools as-needed on the International Space Station to creating personal custom toys and jewelry. We have 3D printers in our new innovation BIG Lab! Well be using them all week creating toys and trinkets. Is your child looking for the perfect desk organizer? Or, do those model kits your child buys at the store not perfectly match his/her vision for the Dungeons and Dragons character they wish to create? Now is the time to design it and 3D print it! Students work in small groups to explore pulleys, gears, and levers. They complete problem solving activities using physics and math and work on structures that require precision.
