This camp is overflowing with creative uses for everyday objects. We will make instruments, art, and gadgets from seemingly useless items. Straws arent just for drinking, balloons arent just for parties, and old cardboard has more uses than you can imagine. I cannot believe that I am a part of such an amazing organization that does so much good for kids struggling through so much adversity. Being in an organization like Camp Kesem has opened my eyes to how generous and kind people can be. Camp Kesem is an organization run by students who spend a ton of time all year fundraising money to allow children whose parents have or had cancer go to a fun, stress-free summer camp. Although this is my first year as a part of this wonderful organization, I already feel so strongly connected to all the counselors and want to do as much as I can to allow these kids to go to camp. Hearing all of these stories about how the kids tell such heart-warming stories, I feel like I would learn more from them than they would from me. It gets me even more excited to learn about all the various events we get to set up and how much fun everyone has every year that they go. SC2016: Shark Pups Week: Even Chompers Start Out Small - Sanibel Flagship Campus
For campers age 4-6. Sharks are either born from eggs or their mom has them. But however theyre born, theyre on their own as soon as theyre out in the water. That means theyve got teeth and fins and they can swim and they have to catch food. Baby Shark, go get ‘em! What does a little shark eat? Where do they find food? How big are they? Lets see. And did you know sharks have really strange sand papery skin? Youll see why. Were going to pretend were shark pups and make our own shark fins! Come fin around in the water with us! We dont bite! High Noon Play-Days - Windyke Country Club
This program gives kids the opportunity to play competitive golf in the summer in a more developmental environment. Windykes par 3 course is suitable for all ages/abilities.
