This camp is recommended for girls ages 8 through 16 years of age. My 13 year old daughter attended Mountain Top Summer Dance Camp. What she liked about it surprised me. She really enjoyed the camaraderie of other girls who shared her passion for dance. At the end of the camp, the girls all held a talent show, and they performed for the parents. Race for the Campers 5K, 10K, and Kid's 1 Mile Adventure Runs - Trout
Get a taste of what Camp Jonah has to offer its campers in these 10k, 5k, and kid’s 1 mile adventure runs; with all proceeds going directly to camp scholarships to help get kids to camp! If you like your races with a little more "fun" than "run" Jonah’s 5k obstacle run is the race for you. Test your limits by wading through mud pits, scaling climbing walls, conquering inflatable obstacles, dodging flying water balloons, and battling many more surprises along the way. Win the race to be crowned camp King or Queen. Be sure to bring your messy clothes/shoes, you may get dirty! For the more serious runners we recommend our 10k scenic run exploring the beauty of Trout Lake. With Mount Adams as your backdrop, this is a race is one you won’t want to miss. From cooking class to sports and art to education, plan an awesome summer your kids won't forget! Hosted by the GCS Mom's League, a non-profit organization aiming to support moms and their families through friendship, resources, and service. The event is free and open to all families in the community. Guests to GCS Mom's League, please RSVP here. Members can RSVP through our GCSML MeetUp site. Children are welcome to accompany thier parent to the event. As normal with GCSML General Meetings, childcare is available but only offered to members.

Force & Motion-Students design and build educational models including motorized machines, develop problem solving and critical thinking skills through creativity, and how they apply math & science to real world situations while exploring architecture and engineering concepts. This camp will offer a skills clinic before breaking into teams and playing a 4v4 festival. The skills clinic will focus on individual technical skills on the ball to develop confidence while dribbling and escaping pressure from opponents. Games will be on a smaller field to help enhance decisions, speed of play and technical abilities under pressure. By condensing the space players are guaranteed to touch the ball more and learn to become better support players for their teammates. A specialty camp with strong emphasis on fundamentals, focusing on shooting skills and drills, and individual offensive moves. Campers are taught the valuable habits of individual offense (shooting mechanics, footwork, moves with and without the ball, passing, etc.) in a structured, non-competitive and positive atmosphere.
