The Birchmont Fun Fest
They call is the 'Birchmont Experience' on their website. I call it the Birchmont Fun Fest because that's just what our two kids went through. Although they are only a year apart you would think they grew up in separate cities. What amazed me is how close they became. That was worth the price of admission! I think this camp really made a positive difference in their relationship. Not what I expected from a summer camp but I'm certainly grateful. Thanks Birchmont!... Read More...

Girls in STEM Feb. Build-A-Thon - Keystone Science School Campus
February: Build-A-Thon At Keystone Science School, STEM (Science Technology Engineering and Math) is an integral part of every experience. The Girls in STEM program dives even deeper by exploring not only the STEM concepts in an empowering girls-only environment, but also highlighting real women currently working in STEM careers. This program builds leadership and collaboration between the girls involved as they engage in fun, hands-on activities that impart new skills and confidence in science, tech, engineering, and math - areas in which girls are inclined to be wallflowers. A key element of the program is a teaching technique called positive growth feedback in which "failure" is viewed as a necessary and even welcome step on the path to success. Research has shown that girls are especially receptive to this teaching technique and the scientific method is the ideal process for applying this technique to valuable learning. Girls in STEM will: Motivate and encourage participation and leadership in young females in STEM related fields. Incorporate the engineering and scientific process into interactive, engaging activities, while promoting positive growth feedback. Inspire collaboration between students of different ages and grades. Create reflective conversation and journaling to stimulate inward thought and consideration of leadership... 970-455-4228

GIRL CAMPER: Florida College AL Summer Camp 2016 - Camp Sumatanga
We are focused on helping campers and their parents to become aware of a unique higher education institution called Florida College. Florida College centers its education around God and His Word, Alabama Camp centers its summer camp activities in the same way. We are not a church camp, but rather a group of Florida College alumni and friends who are eager to provide an environment of summer fun, while remembering who we are as Gods creation. Because of this, we have certain expectations of both our staff and our campers. Please be sure to read these expectations and explain them to your camper if needed. We are certain this will be the best week of your year! Registration is based on your current grade. By Camp in July your camper needs to be finished with the 4th Grade. Non-refundable $50 deposit is required for each camper. 2055293973.0
