Final Summer 2016 Kid's Riding Camp - Georgetown, TX
Sign up now for our last riding camp of the summer for children ages 3 - 18. Camps are half days, and kids learn about safety first, equipment, horses and riding in our soft-sand enclosed and covered round pen and enclosed outdoor arena. Kid's are outside getting exercise in the sunshine and fresh air, learning a new skill, having fun, and gaining in self-confidence. What could be better? All classes taught by Eric Clarke, horseman and natural horsemanship clinician with 35+years experience as a professional horse and people trainer, assisted by several of his horsemanship apprentices. Class size is limited. All equpment and horses provided, except for boots (with a bit of a heel please; no sneakers) and helmets (no bicycle helmets). Siblings may share helmets as needed. Thank you so much for supporting Camp Common Ground's effort to get our youth leaders in Oakland to camp! Your attendance and participation at the launch of our second fundraiser will be imperative to ensuring that our youth from diverse racial and economic backgrounds can stand together this summer to break down barriers that exist between their communities. Come hungry and ready to drink, and don't forget your laptops, smartphones, tablets, etc. that we will use to get the word out about the fundraiser to all of our networks! What's the impact we will make in one day? The fundraiser will last for the entire month of March. During last month's fundraiser, Camp Common Ground supporters exceeded the fundraising goal of $4800. The $5400 raised will bring 4 Oakland youth to camp. During this fundraiser, we will raise $13,200, which will bring 16 more Oakland youth to camp--6 more on full scholarships and 10 on partial scholarships. Looking forward to seeing you there!

A great option for parents who work, TONS-O-FUN Camp offers a fun and safe Extended Day program from 7:30-8:30AM and 3:30-5:00PM for an additional fee. Extended Day includes supervised and partially structured activities, including arts and crafts, games and sports.One fee gives participants access to both morning and afternoon extended care. Parents can flex use of the program daily based on their needs. Come early, stay late or do both. It?s up to you! Participants must be registered in advance by the week to participate. Please note that there will be a minimum number of campers required for each session to run extended camp hours. It is highly recommended that parents pack an extra snack and drink for children who participate in the Extended Day program. All arrival and dismissal policies apply to the Extended Care program. Parents must sign in and sign out participants with photo ID and must be listed on the pick-up authorization section of the registration form.
