Renewable energy is the wave of the future! Using exciting hands-on LEGO® MINDSTORMS® components and renewable energy add-ons, campers explore and understand renewable energy sources, including: solar energy, wind energy and hydro energy, as well as the functionality and capability of solar cells, wind turbines and hydro-electric power plants. Theyll explore energy supply, transfer, accumulation, conversion and consumption; design and build models and observe the behavior of their models. This is an advanced robotics course and campers should have some experience working with LEGO® MINDSTORMS® components. Campers with no experience should attend Camp Deep Space Robotics. Parents are invited to join us on Fridays Family Day to view their childs creations. At the end of the week, campers will build a salt water powered vehicle to take home. 7047743016.0

Kansas City Church of Christ Teen Camp Fundraiser - Olathe, KS
Inside the restaurant on the north side of Bass Pro, inside Uncle Bucks. Raising money for the teens to go to camp in June! Shopping for guest begins at 6:15pm!! Quarters down, Paddles up at 6:45pm!! Come on out and win items up to $75 for as little as 3 quarters from multiple area vendors. There will be two rounds of the auction and one round of the raffles. Vendors put up their item for bid for 1-3 quarters, you bid that many quarters per paddle you hold up, if you desire that item. If your paddle number gets called, THAT ITEM IS YOURS. Paddles are $3 each or 4 for $10. Raffle tickets are $1 each, 6 for $5 and arm span $15. Shop with a vendor and get a raffle ticket for every $5 spent. 5 Week Youth Speed, Agility, Strength & Conditioning Camp. Every Tuesday and Thursday starting October 6th (Tuesday) - November 5th (Thursday) we will be training your athletes to be well prepared for their season and to help them stay active during the later months of the year! The age limit is 8-12 years of age. Camp Agenda Body weight strength training Proper speed and agility mechanics Coordination Conditioning Having fun while working hard!!
Kid's Day Camp (Mom's Day Out!) - Searcy, AR
You may drop children off for a 1/2 day or full day camp experience. Morning camp will consist of an acrylic 16 X 20 painting winter scene along with a hands-on activity. For the afternoon session, children will start with another hands-on craft with a smaller canvas painting. Children may be dropped off at 9:00 a.m. and picked up by 11:45 a.m. or drop off at 12:30 p.m. and picked up at 3:00 p.m. If you opt for full day (9:00 a.m - 3:00 p.m.), your child(ren) will get to participate in both morning and afternoon activities. The cost for the day camp for 1/2 day is $35 for the full day will be $70. If staying the entire day, we will provide sausage, pepperoni, or cheese pizza with a drink, or you may bring your own sack lunch.
